Doors open at 5pm to set up for the potluck and for games inside (darts and ring swing) and out (weather depending - badminton, tetherball and volleyball; bean bag toss and horseshoes).
After our potluck supper, at around 7 pm, Paul Marcolini will give a talk about wilderness rescue volunteers in Denali National Park, Alaska. I will discuss some of the rescues and other interesting events that you don’t normally hear about while working as a paramedic ranger on Denali.
Paul Marcolini is a retired flight paramedic and current wilderness medicine educator. In addition to his years of work as an international mountain guide, Outward Bound program director, paramedic, and ski patrol he spent 8 years as a paramedic for the National Parks on Denali.
All are welcome.
