Completed projects
✓ Accessibility Ramp Completed!
RMCA’s major building improvement project in 2024 was planning and building an accessibility ramp and parking area to make it easier for all to enter the RMCC. A generous donor contributed funds for the project and in the spring of 2024, COVER Home Repair’s Field Director, Jay Mead, visited RMCC and developed a design plan for the ramp. Over several workdays in the fall, numerous volunteers installed a new entryway and widened a couple of doorways inside, built the ramp and created a parking area at the beginning of the ramp. The RMCC is now accessible to all going forward!
Many thanks to all the Ramp Project Volunteers: Rick and Jody Biddle, Sarah Blessum, Ben Bradley, Nadiene and Scott Carter, Noah Chute, Garrett Hack, Gabe Harrell and Wilder Wood Harrell, Chip Hobson, Lee Ilsley, Debra Kraemer, Jimmy Petrillo & Bob Walker. ✓ Removed trees leaning toward the building on the east side
A number of trees were leaning toward RMCC and would have damaged the building had they fallen. In the spring of 2024, Ben Bradley, Ellis Paige, Steven Bradley, Rick Biddle, Noah Chute, Chip Hobson, Jimmy Petrillo and Bob Walker felled and removed the trees.
